Re: Logitech Revue Moderators Gone?

Hi id242,

I am currently working with the support team to ramp up employee participation in the Revue board. I don't have an exact date yet, but LMacNeil should begin participating in the next 1-2 weeks (provided that there are no unexpected delays). In the mean time, please open a ticket via phone or email with our support team if you have urgent technical issues. Thank you for your understanding.

Re: Logitech Revue Moderators Gone?

I know as an employee you have to tow the party line but do you really want all of us to open a ticket for know problems such as that since the update to honeycomb flash is broken? It would really be helpful if we could get some sort of statement from someone in a position of authority that says that you are still working on this issue and expect to have it fixed within an estimated amount of time. At this point we are all pretty sure that you have abondanded us and our now broken Revues.

Re: Logitech Revue Moderators Gone?

Hi bigdave240,

We have been forwarding all of the issues brought up by forum members to the engineering team. Having said this, it is still helpful to open official support tickets. This will allow our agents can go through diagnostic steps with you and officially document all of the issues our customers are experiencing.

Regard,

Re: Logitech Revue Moderators Gone?

unfortunately I did that and the conclusion was that flash should work and they wanted me to send it back. So there is a disconnect between what is going on here on the site and what the people in customer support know about. I have an open issue for flash but am not going to waste my time uninstalling all the buried cables and custom install I have done just to get another Revue that has the same problem as eveyone else. It isn't worth it to me. I just want it fixed or give me my money back. it worked when i bought it and now that an upgrade was forced upon it, it no longer works.

since they moved this to somewhere no one will see it in the future, i would say it is just one more indication that the revue is dead and we will not get it fixed after they broke it. really sad for sure.

Cat  was active in the Security section, the harmony section and the squeezebox section so I think this is not revuse related.

Re: Logitech Revue Moderators Gone?

Cat was the active mod in the revue area since I have been there. not sure what her other jobs were though. and this post started out in the revue area by a revue user so it seems pretty revue related...

It definitely affects Revue users, I just don't think Cat not working for Logitech is Revue related

Re: Logitech Revue Moderators Gone?

I see. You are correct however it was meant more that both of the mods we had are gone at the same time. not anyone in particular though. The revue has been totally abandoned by Logitech now. They wont even commit to fixing it no matter how long. and since it is now broken it becomes worthless. or at best limited in its use. It worked before the forced update but is broken since. So for $100 i got to use it for 3 months. not a good deal. won't buy any more logitech items until this is fixed.

[ Edited ]

The recent departure of these support specialists is not related to Logitech's support policy for any product lines. Both Cat and Kiruban were high performers in the support department, and they have moved on with their careers on good terms. As a matter of fact, I have invited both of them to come back and participate as customers and product users. I will lock the thread for now, since It would be inappropriate for us to to discuss further details related to their personal career choices on a public forum. Please continue the technical discussions in the Revue board.
