It would be really useful if Logitech would make it's software for Linux (Ubuntu) too. It's irritating you need to have a Windows OS in order to pair a new device to a unifying receiver,

And when will the appropriate business unit forward a solution for the Linux community? Is there an E.T.A for this?
Is work underway at all, or is it even being considered? Will Logitech *ever* support the Linux community?
The fact that I have to ask makes me suspect that probably not - I hope I'm wrong, of course...
Regards
Bab

Hi Bab,
Currently we do not have any additional information from the business unit. We will certainly update the community if this changes in the future.

Hello. It is disappointing that there isn't SetPoint software for Linux because I've heard that more people are moving away from Windoze to either Mac or Linux. I am also surpised that there isn't a download for the software for OS X, either. I'm sure many people would be grateful to get the software package for either OS X or Linux, as I and the original poster of this message would also be.

Hey!
I just got an M515 Couch mouse for my laptop and I was so impressed I ordered an MK710 keyboard mouse combo for my desktop. But everything in my house runs Linux (Slackware, but who cares once you're past the installer) so I just want to add my voice to the chorus of people looking for a linux solution.
If Logitech doesn't want to support a SetPoint for linux perhaps they could share enough information with the open-source community that it could be built by us: the linux users!
Thanks!
