Trackman wheel issue - please help ;(

I did request help from Logitech but only got an email telling me my issue had been resolved when it has not. :/ I emailed them back asking them to send the solution again and got nothing.

I am running XP and I have the TrackMan Wheel p/n 630-000226. I LOVE this mouse, so much. It worked wonderfully for a couple months but now it will work for ten minutes and then stop. I can unplug and replug it in and it will work for ten more minutes and then stop. Eventually my computer tells me that whatever I am trying to connect doesn't want to connect. "click here to fix it" but of course my mouse is BROKEN and I can't click it. :/ I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled. Still broken. I have tried other usb ports. Still broken. I am currently using a roller ball mouse and it is killing my wrist. I really want my good mouse to work again ;(

Any advice?

Re: Trackman wheel issue - please help ;(

Thank you for pointing out that page. I followed everything you advised to do and the result is the same. I have tried using this mouse on another computer and it did the same thing. For some reason I am unable to reply to that other link. I will open a new support ticket.
