Trade Up program

I took my webcam 9000 pro and send it back. Then I received an email that said that they had received the product and I would be getting a check for the webcam in about 4 weeks. Well it has been longer than 4 weeks and still nothing. This is nothing more then a RIP-OFF. I have already alerted all my relatives that this program is a RIP-OFFFFFFFF. I hope that nobody else falls for this SCAM.

Hi nomad1024,

 

Per our trade-in program terms, this program is for discounts on new items from logitech.com (and not a buy back program which checks are issued). You should have received a 20% off discount code immediately when you register for the trade-in program. Please let me know if you did not receive the 20% code and I will look into this for you.

All your website and Cexchange website's add is very misleading to believe that the person would get check for their used items to use for new Logitech Items.  Cexchange even sent me this e-mail:

 

"The package containing order  (payment Type: logitechspecial check) has arrived at our facility, and will be processed by our evaluation team within seven days."

 

I sent in 2 perfecally good mouse and one good harmony remote so maybe I can upgrade and Cexchange is not even e-mailing me back.  I want them back if I'm not getting a check for them.  If your not giving out check you should write it on your exchange website in big red letters and say "You will not be getting a check if you send your stuff in"

 

This IS a SCAM

I am sorry to hear about your disappointment with the trade-in program. Please note that our trade-in program page does not make any claims regarding payments for the trade-ins. The top banner clearly state that this trade-in program is for product discounts.  In addition, the following terms are listed on the page:

 

How it works:
1. Click on the icon below and select the item(s) you want to trade in
2. Enter your shipping information and print out your postage-paid return label from CeXchange
3. Receive your discount code for 20% off immediately - you can use it towards new products on Logitech.com* 
4. Pack your old product and send it in.

That is what you get when your customers want more information on your trade it program.  Since you guys don't explain much on your site, we have to go with what Cexhange says.  If you guys don't honor what they say then you should state that in your program.

So what happens to my items? Do I just lose them? I didn't send them into get 20% discount, I sent them into get an appraisal to see how much I would get for them so I  may decide on upgrading.  They were perfectly good items. I want them back if you guys are not paying anything for them.

I also sent a box full of stuff 3/29/12 & still have not even received an E-Mail,

I have order id # U.S. postal tracking # !  + Sheet Trade in Program with LOGITECH

LOGO & that is the only reason I sent my items! So I have to agree you people need to step up and honor this program even though you do not give a (word filter evasion)! I spend a lot of money buying your products and you need to make this happen.

 

P.S. Why can`t I add Attachments??? PROOF!
