Unifying devices: Mac support please

While I might have preferred bluetooth, overall I am pretty happy with the Unifying device setup. However, there is a definite nuisance, which is that only about half of the devices appear to be recognized or supported on the Mac. I can usually get them to work, but without any special features. So there's that cool-looking wireless touchpad... But it says it requires Windows. I'm not likely to experiment with that on the off chance that it works. I have a K800, and it really does work pretty well, for the most part, but I imagine I would have had less trouble getting it configured if the driver had supported it directly. This also applies to gaming devices. I would really like the G13 and G600 to work with OS X, and really, just in general it would be nice if I could just buy hardware I like without having to check whether this particular piece of hardware is going to be a giant pain to try to use or configure. The G600 is nice in that at least it sort of stays configured, but I have not found a way to get it to use similar movement between Mac and Windows... Please, guys. You make really nice input devices. I use more than one computer, frequently on a KVM. I can't just swap devices all the time.

Hi Seebs,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I will be sure to forward your post to the appropriate product teams. Please keep an eye on our News and Announcements area for future Mac specific products.

Currently, both the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 and the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard 750 for Mac are designed to be used with Macs. For our other USB keyboards and mice, basic functionality will still work natively under OS X. For more information, please take a look at this post

Thanks,

Re: Unifying devices: Mac support please

I've just bought the G600, and have foud it doesn't work on my Mac. Please update it to work... please. It already seems nicer than the Razer I've been using.
