Well, honestly, Logitech (as far as I know) is not running any G27 refurbishing programs. You may be looking at units refurbished by a 3rd party. You can also PM me the link to the store and I'll take a look at the reseller's deal, but if you're going to want new-looking products, you should probably buy new.
So I did some digging:
- Fine print on the "REFURBISHED" from Newegg.com: "Refurbished" products have been tested to ensure compliance with original manufacturer specifications, and MAY include a limited manufacturer warranty - see the item's product page for details. These are not refurbished by Logitech, and are in fact refurbished by a 3rd party. These do not have a Logitech warranty as per their page. The 3rd party refurbishing company is likely are testing the unit for functionality and operation, but may have visible wear. Again, all of this product refurbishing is being handled external to Logitech.
- There is no Logitech warranty on these units and they may look used: I cannot say what standard exactly they are in compliance with as we're not running the program. I checked internally: We are not running any G27 refurbishing programs ourselves right now.
- There might be confusion on the Newegg side. See if they can share the SKU with you (It's not on their web page), and that will tell me for sure if it's a Logitech refurbished product or not, but at this point, it looks like their might be confusion on Newegg's side about this.
- If you want a new-looking product with a full warranty, you should probably buy new, but you can find some good deals in these refurb products.
