Hi boys and girls
Well before few nights a had a party and my 4 year old Genius speakers died,
smoke through sub awful smell and so on. Genius - party pupper. Anyway day after i go and buy Logitech Z 5500 i want it for a long long time and finely get it
Everything is just fine, but i have few questions if is ok.
I try to connect my cheep dvd player through optical cable and it work but from time to time i get some strange noise almost unnoticeable but still you can hear it when the sound is a bit high, then i connect thru RCA cable with silver plates and the sound was perfect. Also optical cable that i connect is brand new but also cheep. is that the answer cheap? i don't know! what do you think? Also RCA cable is better when it come with gold plates, but is only computer speakers, am i gone feel difference when i connect RCA silver vs gold? I have SB audigy 4 is that good enough (can this card give me max power for this speakers) or should i buy some X-fi and which one you recommend? So many questions
I have google all of this but i want last opinion from some Logitech exptert. Tnx p.s. sry for bad English....

it might be the connection on the dvd player that arent so good....for the sound card you own that should be more than enough thats a good card you have there
youll get good quality sound out of it
