G51 Surround Sound Speaker System

I bought the G51 Surround Sound Speaker System and I have a problem. I Plug my Sennheiser PC 350 headphones into the volume control and iIget sound, but my microphone which is attached to the headphones doesn't seem to work. the problem isn't the headphones, because i can plug them into my computer directly. Is there anyone out there who can help me out?!?! thanx

Do you have the pink mic cable from the G51 connected to the mic in on your sound card?
