After I reloaded Windows my Logitech X22 speakers stopped working. I tried other speakers and they also failed to produce sound. When I open Control Panel and click sounds and audio device properties it says "No Audio Device". The speaker is plugged in and the lights are on, but there is never any sound.
On the Logitech website there are drivers for everything but speakers.
I have a Machspeed motherboard and they say:
I HAVE NO AUDIO???
If you have no audio after installing your Operating System and installing the audio drivers on your driver disk, please note that VIA chipset motherboards share the front and rear panel audio. If you have connected your front panel audio connections, then you will get no sound from the rear panel. Also note, that if the jumpers from the front panel audio connection are not set to factory setting, this will disable rear panel audio as well.
I have never had anything plugged into the front, in fact, I reloaded Windows withougt ever unplugging my Logitech from my computer.
Any suggestions about how I can get sound back?

Have you installed the drivers for your on-board soundcard. The motherboard should have come with a driver disk for integrated peripherals like the sound card. If you can't find the disk check the motherboards vendors website. You may be able to download them there.
BTW, analog speakers don't use drivers.
