Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 shuts off after 2 minutes using line in

I read the post about about the 1 minute shutoff and poked the reset button, but that did not work for me.  The unit is plugged in and has been all day and overnight. I've played it 5 or 6 times and it always shuts off (Power button goes dark and speakers turn off) after two minutes - like the sound level sensor (which supposedly on works when on battery power) doesn't sense that input.

The phone in help guy says the line-in is not supported (?!) just iPods and iPhones.  He also said I can't have the PF 2 since it's not released yet.  Maybe rookie mistakes.

Any ideas so I don't have to send back my new toy?

I didn't mention that it works fine with my iPod and does not shut off after two minutes

What sort of music are you playing?

What kind of iPod are you using?

Re: Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 shuts off after 2 minutes using line in

I'm playing various types of music, and the iPod is a Touch.  The Touch works great but sometimes I don't have it with me and just want to play from my notebook.

I really don't want the hassle of returning it but the line-in jack is a major reason I bought it.  Seems it is working for pablokent, so it must be defective.

After some correspondence with Logitech, their considered and best opion is that it is broken!  I'm sending it back.
