Hello
Long story short, today my girlfriend moved my laptop while my speakers were plugged in and the pin from the speaker cable broke off inside my laptop's green soundcard outlet! I messed around with it for a while, taking the laptop apart, etc. and couldn't get it out. I got super frustrated, and eventually wound up pushing the broken piece of the pin as far into the outlet as possible
Now if I hook up my z680s to my laptop, the sound works fine, even though there's a piece of the pin still stuck in the socket. Is this going to harm the soundcard? Also, I don't have a pin on the speaker cable I usually hook up to my laptop. Am I able to repair this by buying a new pin or am I going to have to send them in for a repair? I looked this topic up on google and saw someone reccommended going to radio shack. Either way, I hope I can fix these!
Thanks in advance!
