Hi there,
When I first paired the device with my win7 x64 and then connected to the Bluetooth adapter, windows automatically changed the default playback device to Bluetooth speaker (adapter). However, After few times connecting and disconnecting, things have changed. Now connecting to Bluetooth adapter does not change the default playback device to Bluetooth adapter which means I have to first go to device manager, open "Bluetooth operation", connect to logitech Bluetooth, then two extra steps: right click on speaker icon in the taskbar, choose playback, choose Bluetooth adapter and set it as default! It is just irritating to do that each time I want to connect to the adapter and I can't figure why it did it automatically at first and now it doesn't change it anymore.
Steps I took: I reinstalled Intel Bluetooth software. I removed Bluetooth adapter and added it again.
Anyone knows how to make it work again? May be if I reset the adapter completely? Anyone knows how to reset the adapter? Even my Bluetooth headset has a procedure to reset it but I couldn't find any for the adapter.
any help appreciated ![]()

I have a similar problem. The device will not automatically reconnect with my HTC HD2 (windows mobile 6,5) or iPhone 4S (iOS 5.01) once they have been paired. To get it to reconnect I have to go into the settings and manually connect despite the device being recognised by the phone.
Solution??

Your problem doesn't have anything to do with mine. your issue is a "feature" by design. The bluetooth adapter is not same as a bluetooth headset. It doesn't connect to your phone automatically. Which means you have to click on connect on your phone first.
My issue is another history. I have to go through computer sound management and set it as default each time AFTER I connect to the adapter.
Isn't there really a logitech rep. to help with my issue?
