I picked up the Z-5500 but discovered my new mobo doesn't have 5.1 output. What's the best soundcard on the market for use with the Z-5500?
I plan on playing games with the system, but the real test will be Blu-ray playback -- it would be great if the card supported Dolby TrueHD, etc -- or is that handled by the operating system in software anyway and the soundcard just sends the data out on a digital cable?
It looks like TrueHD with 5.1 channels is 24-bit, 192khz -- the only soundcard NewEgg seems to carry that does that is the M-Audio Revolution 5.1.

Don't get the D2 get the regular cheaper DX Xonar.
The Z5500 already does DTS decoding so why pay for it and thats all that the Xonar D2X really has that makes it double the price.
