Blink from my z-5500

[ Edited ]

Hallo!

- I have my Logitech z-5500, which I think is awesome.

But for a longer time my control pod have been blinking, and I almost can't read what's shown on the display.

My subwoofer is also humming, I can hear it when there is no music turned on.

Is there anything I can do to solve these problems?

Re: Blink from my z-5500

Hi Kim if your speakers are still in warranty contact logitech support they will trouble shoot a bit then if they can't fix it they will replace the set with a set of z-906 speakers. If they are out of warranty you can ask and they would give you 50 % off the purchase price on the z-906 speakers

Re: Blink from my z-5500

Hello blinks,

Please reset your control pod by performing the following procedure.  Set the unit to standby mode then press Input + Settings simultaneously for 6 seconds. This will display the firmware version for a few seconds and will also reset the settings to their original factory values.  If your problem persists, please contact Customer Care for your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement.  The Z5500 speakers do come with a two year warranty.  If you currently reside in North America, please feel free to send me a private message.

I hope this helps you out.

SIncerely,
