I've just purchased a Mini Boombox.
It works fine with my iPad, but I can't get my iPhone or iPod to see it in bluetooth.
I've checked that bluetooth is switched on on the other two devices.
And I know that it can't connect to more than one device at a time - so I've turned it off on the iPad.
I've put both devices right next to the Boombox to make sure that there's no problem with signal strength.
And I've tried switching the Boombox off and on a few times.
My iPhone is 3GS and the iPod is a 4th generation Touch.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
David

Hello DrStir,
You could try resetting the iPhone and iPod.

Thanks for the advice.
The second link seemed to hold the solution.
I struggled to get the blinking red and blue lights to show on the Boombox, but once I did, it connected ok to the iPod.
And I'm hoping it will do the same with my iPhone.

It seems I spoke to soon. I'm still having all sorts of problems getting the Boombox to connect to different devices.
Sometimes it works - but maybe only 1 in 10 times.
The first time I tried it, it connected to my iPad straight away. I've since managed to connect successfully to my iPhone and iPod.
But now I can't get it to recognise my iPad. I just get the message: 'Connection unsuccessful. Make sure Mini Boombox is turned on and in range.'
I've tried switching everything on and off. The Boombox is connected to the power and within a few inches of the iPad.
I can get the flashing blue and red lights. And the device will appear in the Bluetooth list on my iPad.
There are no other devices nearby that it's connected to.
I'm not sure what else to try.
Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Problem solved by getting iPad to 'forget' bluetooth connection.
Reconnected and now everything ok.

I have the same problem with my iPhone. The first days of use it connects/pairs perfectly, but now it still wont connect. If I select "Mini Boombox" in my Bluetooth-Menue, the iPhone says "Connection failed". Many other devices (of my own and friends) can connect with my Boombox, but my iPhone cant.
Can you tell me, how did you get your iPad to "forget" the connection?

iPad settings >General >Bluetooth
The Boombox should show up on the list of bluetooth devices.
Click the right arrow to the right of 'Mini Boombox'
Click 'Forget this device'.
Hope that helps.
As long as I only connect it to one device, it's been fine.
In fact, it's a very impressive little speaker.

Thank you! It works! Problem solved.
In my german menue it means translated "ignore device", so I was confused.
