Hooking up X-530 system to my tv

Hello

Have a Logitech X-530 Surround Sound and wonder if I can hook this up to my tv. The set up is vague. Thanks

Re: Hooking up X-530 system to my tv

Hello Robsellers. I have not seen so many televisions with 5.1 contacts. I think I should either buy a surround system amplifier or simply connect the television to a computer with a 5.1 or 7.1 soundcard.

Hi,

TV's with RCA connectors:

B. If you have a video game console (PlayStation®, PlayStation®2, Xbox™, or GameCube®):

• Connect the green, black and orange plugs from the audio input

cable to the 3 stereo mini jacks on the video game adapter.

• Connect the red and white RCA audio cables from your video game

console to the RCA audio jacks to the video game adapter.

See page 3 of the user guide for the illustration.

TV's using headphone out:

• 2-channel sound card: Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to the “line out” jack on your sound

card. Do not use the black or orange plugs.

This is not hard to do. There are only a few things to try.
