I'v recently bought a new 32 inch tv for my ps3 and a z550, but can i get my tv sound ( just when i am watching tv ) out of the z5500 speakers.  i know that it isn't 5.1 but it would be nice to have a clear an more powerful sound for my tv that comes from 4 speakers

does anyone know how to manage this ( i will be using the optical cable for the ps3

My TV: LG 32LD550

Speakers: Logitech Z-5500

Re: How to setup my Z-5500

Hi MarkoNino,

I hope you are enjoying your Z-5500 speakers.  This is possible and you can use an 3.5mm Analog male to male cable to connect your TV to the Z-5500.  I would suggest puting the Z-5500 on Input Stereo1 and then Effect PLII Movie.  I would also suggest using the 3.5mm jack from the headphone jack on your TV to the green port in the back of the Z-5500 control pod.

Hope this is helpful

Re: How to setup my Z-5500

Hey.  I know it may be a really really late post, but I have mine set up like this.  I have my PS3 connected to the TV by HDMI and then optical out from TV to the Z-5500 receiver.  Works great.  Hope it helps.
