Greetings,
I've been a happy owner and user of this set for over a year. As of two days ago, I get absolutely no sound output when I plug headphones into the headphone 3.5mm port in the volume control hub/ "Precision Control Center." My headphones are functional, and I can hear clearly if my headphones are plugged in directly to my sound card.
Separately, there is no sound production from my speakers when I turn on any matrix modes while working under normal conditions. I do not have my headphones plugged in anywhere.
I do not have any missing or incorrect connections because I followed the instruction manual.
Relevant system specs: Windows 7 64-bit, Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer (with latest drivers).
I would really appreciate any ideas. I must say that I don't blame any of my components except for the "Precision Control Center" because everything was working fine (at least the headphone function) as of two days ago. I've had Win7 for three weeks, and my sound card for much longer than that.

Hi,
Can you test the speakers with an MP3 player? Turn off matrix and test each channel. Then just the green connector and try Matrix.
Logitech Customer Support for further assistance.
You can also Email Us

Thanks for your reply, Mike.
Matrix mode, headphones, etc. all work! This is odd because this didn't happen earlier when I plugged in my MP3 player. I blame my sound card for my computer. With respect to the speakers, they are working now so I will not try to alter anything.
Thanks again, and I hope this problem does not return in any form.
