Logitech X-530 - Front left RCA connection dead.

Hello All,

Logitech X-530

Recently I've discovered that the front left RCA connection is dead on the back of the sub. In Windows Audio the test sound plays out of all the speakers except the front left channel.

Tested the speaker on another channel and it's fine. Tested another source instead of my PC and I get the same result. It seems the RCA connection for front left is dead on the sub.

I think I purchased these other two years ago, I work for a retailer and I'm looking through my stock system to find my purchase. I may have the receipt at home in my computer expenses.

If I find the receipt could I get some recourse on the warranty?

OR

Does anyone know anyway of fixing the single channel in the sub? If it's out of warranty I'm open to have a go an repairing myself. (I'm in the market for new headset anyway)

Thanks

Genders

Found the receipt. Purchased in August 2008. I still have it.

Re: Logitech X-530 - Front left RCA connection dead.

Hello Genders,

You have already done the basic troubleshooting steps and determined it is the speaker system that is at fault. The X-530 speakers come with a two year warranty.  Even though your speakers are out of warranty, I would still suggest contacting Customer Care for your region to see what options may be available to you.

I hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
