I have just bought some Logitech Z506 speakers and I need help setting them up. I want to listen to music from my Macbook Pro but I want the music to come from all the speakers(5.1). By connecting the 3.5mm green cable would it play 5.1 music or do I need to by an extra cable? I also want to connect the speakers to my Xbox 360 and TV. As I said, I want the sound coming from my Xbox 360 and TV to be surround sound(5.1). How do I make this happen? I am not very good at this stuff so be as detailed and basic as possible.

The Surround Sound Speakers Z506 transmit Surround sound with 3D Stereo, the speakers convert two-channel stereo into surround sound. To connect the speaker system to your laptop, you just need the 3.5 mm green cable, no other cables are required.
To connect the speaker system to your Xbox 360 console, you need to have stereo RCA cables (which are not included: red & white). Plug the RCA cables into the red and white input jacks on the back of the subwoofer.
I hope this information helps.
