Mini Boombox will not Sync with anything, Ipad, Iphone or galaxy s2

I love this speaker, it has great sound but it was always quite slow to sync, I've had it for about 5 months now and it won't sync with anything, not Ipad, Iphone, or Galaxy S2, it turns on and lights up but that's it.  The source device searches for the Boombox but never finds it.  Very disappointing.
