Are there any plans/announcements from Logitech, regarding a possible Z-5450 successor? I am looking for a 5.1 system with wireless rear speakers, but the Z-5450 is getting old (almost 3 years) and I was wondering if a successor was in the stars?![]()
Any info would be appreciated...![]()
Thanks

Probably not seeing with wireless speakers you need some sort of power source and it generally means you're tethered to your AC outlets.
Wiring is much more versatile, I mean you can paint your wires the color of the wall and run wire which ever way you want.

I know I need to plug the rear speakers to an AC outlet, and I have no problem with that. Its easier and less DIY intensive than wiring the speakers across the room. In my situation (room dimensions/purpose) only a wireless system will do the trick.
Please Logitech release a Z-5450 successor, pretty please, with sugar on top...![]()

I was looking too for the succesor, didn't mind to spend whatever had to as my system was broken and I had a very good experience with logitech z-5450...but looks like two years after this post therestill not a quality succesor just a wired one, bad for me and a lost sale for logitech...
My recommendation for those who like me will never ever use rear wired speakers is to keep fixing your current system as I do...searched for an electrician in my city and even expensive, it worths. Now my system is working like the first day and Im happy with my wireless rear speakers.
(Also bought a replacement of the control center)
I know this post is old, but I found it when my system was broken and was looking for a solution...so I hope my suggestion may help others in my situation.
