I am running Windows 7 RC1 64-bit on a Dell Inspiron 1525. As far as I know, I have all the sound drivers I need installed from Dell. In any case, I connected the X-540 speakers connected through the two audio output jacks on the laptop using the black and orange plugs. I also have made sure all the cables from the speakers are plugged into the subwoofer properly.
Problem is, I get no sound from the three front speakers, whether Matrix mode is enabled or not. Actually, Matrix mode causes all of my speakers to go completely silent. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Hi,
Whatever lead you have plugged into the green connector on the sub is not the front from the sound card.
