X-540 5.1 Speaker System - Issue with Wired Remote

Hi all,

I've had my x-540s for a while but recently I think they've developed a fault with the wired remote.

The on/off switch and volume control works perfectly.

The bass volume knob does not work at all (i.e... Turning up or down it has no effect at all on the bass). I can manually control the levels of bass emitted by the subwoofer via my sound-card software.

Activating the "matrix" button turns all sound off completely.

Therefore I think it's simply a fault with the wired remote. Ideally there would be a replacement part but I couldn't find a replacement subwoofer/wired remote on this website (the wired remote and subwoofer are hard wired to each other).

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Monkey1234,

Unfortunately, there are no repacements available for the control pod/subwoofer. I suggest you contact the Logitech Support Team of your region to check the warranty of your Logitech X-540 Speaker System and process for a warranty claim.

Hello Casper_ZY,

Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't provide repair services. Since the device is out of warranty, you can try consulting a local technician for repair options.
