Z-2300 right input randomly stopped working.

I was listening to music the other day and realized that my right speaker was not playing any sound. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but nothing changed. I have unhooked all of the wires and restarted my computer and checked the balance. Nothing worked. I tried plugging the right speaker into the left input and it worked perfectly. Does that mean that the right input is broken? How can I fix this?

You said you tried plugging the right speaker into the left jack and it worked, but what happens if you plug another speaker into the right?

Same thing. I plugged the left speaker into the right jack and its just static. However, if i put the balance all the way to the right i can just barely hear the music coming out of whatever speakers in the right input.

Hmmm, think I had this problem with a Creative set I used to have but...I cant properly remember what it was or how I fixed it. Ill try remember what it was exactly and get back to you! Sorry I havent been able to help yet =/

Yeah I feel the same about my speakers xD

 

What soundcard/software are you using? If you have a laptop like in my case, and you have an external USB soundcard, unplug it and re-plug it back in and restart your PC

If you plug the speakers into some other source (another PC, MP3 player, etc...) does the same thing happen? That tell you if it's something to do with the speakers or the computer.

 

If the same thing happens in another source, I would suggest contacting customer support.
