My setup is all original. Alienware A-51 pc from 6 years ago. Built in Soundblaster 5.1 soundcard. Logitech Z-640 speakers. For the first 5 years, everything worked fine. Recently, I noticed that I get no sound in the rear speakers. If I switch the wires on the back of the subwoofer, I can tell that the speakers do work. I swapped the rear for the front speakers. The fader dial does nothing. The center dial works as it is supposed to. The matrix button does not do anything, but I don't think I need it.
I want sound back in my rear speakers. The speakers work.
In Control Panel Sounds and Audio Devices, I have it set to 5.1 Surround Sound.
I know this is an old system, but everything else seems to work fine. And it still does what I need except for this sound issue.
Thanks,
Brenden
