Hey all,
The cone of my Z5500 isn't moving at all, it makes noise, it have a low bass but the cone is like frozen.
It never really moved since I have bought it.
On vids of the Z5500 I saw the cone moving.. pretty A LOT.
Im wondering if anyone knows whats wrong with it, why the bass is so low, why the cone isn't moving.
Ofcourse everythign is connected as is should be.
I really hope someone can tell whats wrong.

It maybe defective. Sounds like the speakers voice coil is stuck. Maybe foreign material in the gap or it is off center.
Return it if you can or contact Logitech Customer Service for your location and see if your warranty is still in force.
Have you tried a few sound sources to see if they always act the same way?

I already have it like 1 year and 6 months, I don't know how long the warranty is?
The Z5500 isn't for sale anymore since the z906..
It doesn't seem to matter what I listen, the bass stays low, it gets a bit harder when I put the bass harder on the control. But the cone won't move.
(Is there anything you know what really ahve to make the cone move?)
There is no way to fix it myself or something?
Or any other things what can be the problem?

With the power Off.
If you Gently push on the cone does it move freely?
If it does not. You probably have a speaker problem.
If it does. That may point more to a electronics problem.

How can I push the cone?
There is a metal frame before?

I am sorry that I confused you and feel I should not have suggested testing the cone.
Forget what I suggested as you will probably damage the unit. Until I can hopefully find more information.
I am going to try and find some photos of the sub and maybe we can still find something for you.

I am able to get the frame off, the frame is set with just 4 bolts, can't be a problem.
But the only reason that the cone won't move is because he is broken?
There can't be other reasons?

No I did not mean to try and push on the frame edge.
Near the center of the cone it should gently move in and return with little pressure.
If it is gritty or sticky the speaker itself is defective and you would have to replace it.
If the cone moves without sticking or gritty sounds. The electronics are defective.
