Hi,

Question is in the topic really? Can I get Dolby Pro Logic II through the 3x 3.5mm analogue connections or does it have to be through the digital optical?

Pro Logic 1/2: Stereo Analog. It may work with PCM stereo over digital.

DD/DTS: Digial Only. Must be encoded in the source.

This is ture for any system, not just Z-5500, it's a matter of data/signal format.
