Z623 headphone jack volume

So I'm thinking of getting the z623 speakers for my tv, but I was wondering if the volume knob works when you plug headphones in. I've noticed in the past that there is a set volume for logitech speakers headphone port when headphones are plugged in. I hate this because it's pretty low volume and ruins my headphone experience. Does anybody know if the z623 speakers do the same? All I want to be able to do is to turn my headphones up with the knob on the speakers. Thanks.

Re: Z623 headphone jack volume

The volume knob does indeed adjust the volume of headphones that are plugged in.

Re: Z623 headphone jack volume

Yes the volume does work for the headphones.  It goes all the way from no audio at all to barely able to hear it.  It is very quiet through headphones even with the knob turned all the way up.

Re: Z623 headphone jack volume

I just picked these speakers up yesterday, And I'd like to make a correction to what Jlohnes has said.

Once you plug in the headphones, the volume control on the speakers itself does also control the volume of the headphones (along with the computer).

Also on a side note, I typically have the computer volume set for about 25-30%, if I plug in my headphones into the Z623, the system volume has to go to 95-100% and the volume on the speakers itself has to go to 100%, even then I'm still below the 25-30% if I had just plugged into the computer itself.
