Hi,
I bought the z623 about a week ago and I notticed from day one a slight hissing noise from the speakers when nothing was playing.
I made sure all the connections were in place. I disconnected the 3.5mm jack from my computer and the noise persisted. I am guessing that means the hissing/white noise is not from my onboard sound controller.
Is this normal for the z623? What I mean is it normal to have some hissing sounds when the speakers are on and not playing any music or is it suppose to be dead silent?
Thanks.

It is actually a slight hissing/static sound.
It is really annoying when you are listening to a song and there is a break, you can hear the hiss.
I would appreciate comments from z623 owners.

Hi lionheart123,
If it's happening disconnected from your computer, it sounds like the speakers are defective. Some quick troubleshooting steps you can take are to try plugging the speakers into a different power outlet (preferrably in another location), also try pluggin directly into the outlet if it's currently in a power bar.
If the problem still persists, please contact customer care in your region for a warranty inquiry.
