If you're dependant on buying things online .. if i were you, gently repack the speaker system, and check the return policy of amazon and get a refund .. And go for another brand of speakers .. ![]()

I got a replacement for my speakers after 10 days. Actually the service centre was going to refund my money but then they changed their mind and gave me a new set. I'm hoping that i'll not have the same problem again as this time the speakers are in a new packaging i.e the packaging design has changed so i'm guessing its a new lot. Let's see... I'm keeping my fingers crossed this time.

I just got my z906 set and have the same problem...
" I cannot reset the control unit as it automatically powers itself back on before the reset procedure is done. I've tried different power outlets too."
Same here, first the reset worked, but not anymore...
Also, I think we all would really appreciate a proper answer on the problem's nature, not just a "Have you tried turning it off and on again" kind of answer. The set has been out for months, you must have already realised the problem's origin.

Hey,
I bought z906 yesterday and have been trying everything.. except opening the **bleep** thing too take a look, dont wanna waste my warrenty, but this is so **bleep** annoying.. i payd 400 euro for this "awesome" sound system and what do i get in return? alot of anger and carckles..
Heres my problem, which u already know what is.. 2 of the led lamps light (aux , input 5) and i cant do much about that except turning it on and off 100ish times, then suddenly a "POP" from the speakers and its "kind of" on. i can play alittlebit of music, doesnt matter what level of sound, bass, 3d, 2.1 4.1 or whatever input i use, but the same thing happends all the time.. this big CUT, CRACKLE sound comes, either the z906 keeps playing after a 1sec break or it turns off and starts bugging AGAIN... i'w done this a 1000 times now, and yesterday evening it was acctualy okay for an hour without crackles, then suddenly it died again and i went too bed instead of throwing this piece of garbage out the window, because atm thats what it is.
im so **bleep** tired of this.. and alot of people are experiencing this problem, i demand u give us a straight answer to this problem, so either we can fix it or wait another week or 2 for a new one -.-'
Please.. i wanna play music and play games
Regards,
Cuddle.

This is a User to User Forum. Logitech employees do respond sometimes, but you may get better results trying to call or email them.

Recently I purchased one Z906. But really I fed up on the system. Because it have a serious problem, It will work maximum one hour and getting stopped. I brought it back to the dealer and he checked. Surprise that the system doesn't have any problem at the shop and it work continuously around 2 hour ( His shop is airconditioned and my home in non A/C). Finally I found the problem, that is over heating the back panel of Sub woofer. The dealer refused to replacing or repairing the system, because he doesn't found any problem. Then I just keep open the back panel of sub woofer and the system works well one full night. So Logitech should suggest the solution for this problem. But, I have a suggestion, that required a cooling fan for the back panel of sub woofer.
