I just bought my wireless speaker adapter but can't seem to get it to work on my mac book pro using mac os x lion.
the device will not connect to my laptop, it just flashes green. it has been found and paired however it will never connect. I have even been able to choose to use it as an audio device in my settings.
when i try to play some music through it, it connects and disconnects very quickly and comes up with the message:
"A Bluetooth audio error occurred.
There was an error connecting your audio device. Make sure it is turned on and in range. The audio portion of the program you were using may have to be restarted."

Just my 2 cents
I'm on Lion OS X 10.7.3 Build 11D50, on an iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz.
I've got a working setup following this procedure.
- Press connect on device and let the Mac discover it.
- Follow the connection and recognition steps, at the end you'll see the device front panel led turning red.
- Open Bluetooth control panel: from Bluetooth icon in menu bar select the last item of pull down menu ("Open Bluetooth Preferences...")
- In the dialog box select C7 Logitech Adapter
- Press Option (Alt) key and open the menu with Gear icon, next the Minus sign (http://bit.ly/zseBA9)
- Select 'Update Services' (I'm guessing the correct English option, I've got an Italian OS, it is the sixth option in menu). Wait a bit.
- Select first option in the same menu 'Use as audio device'. The front panel led should turn green, not flashing.
Hope it works for you too.

Hi!
Unfortunately It doesn't work
I use macbok with MAC OS X 10.7.3.
After the second step it's not clear for me, when do I have to press the connect button on the logitech adapter agian? (After that became red)
You wrote on the last step, that "not flashing" so that means at one time you press the button again....
And How long do I have to puss the ALT button?
You know, the Devils are in the details ![]()
Please help me!!! ![]()

Hi benjii, you have to press the button on the device only once at the beginning. When 'Use as audio device' is selected in the bluetooth control panel the led should turn green without touching the Logitech device.
The Alt button should be pressed only while you are selecting the icon (like a Ctrl-Click).
Hope it works for you, I have to repeat those steps every time I power off the Logitech device ![]()
Waiting for a Lion update…

mariopet has it right, his English was just a bit hard to follow (no offense). Here's what you need to do on OS X Lion:
1. Press 'Connect' on the Logitech device. The LED will rapidly flash green.
2. Let OS X discover and set up the device. If it doesn't, choose 'Set Up Device...' from the bluetooth icon menu in the finder bar and go through that.
3. Open the bluetooth icon menu from the finder bar and select 'Open Bluetooth Preferences...' Bluetooth preferences show up.
4. Select the logitech adapter in the list and click the gear icon in the list footer. Select 'Show More Info...'
5. Select the gear icon again (more options show up) and select 'Update Services...' and wait a bit.
6. Select the gear icon and select 'Use as audio device'.
If the LED is red, that means it is not connected to anything. Maybe you're too far away from the device?

I had the same problem using the Wireless Speaker Adapter on Lion 10.7.3 I followed the steps from heywhatsupyo and the problem was solved. Thanks heywhatsupyo !
But the problem returned after Apples update 10.7.5 (thanks a lot Apple !
) This time heywhatupyo's solution didn't work (thanks a lot again Apple !
).
After trying a few things, I discovered that I had to press the 'Connect' button on the Logitech device again between steps 4 and 5. After step 5 I heared the 'beep beep' sound over my sound system, meaning the device and my Macbook Pro where connected. I didn't have sound right away. I had to switch from the Logitech device to my internal speakers and back again (system preferences / sound). After that all worked perfectly till today
. Lets hope the next Apple update won't screw everything up again.
So the steps will look like this:
5a. Press the 'Connect' button on the Logitech device again.
5b. Select the gear icon again (more options show up) and select 'Update Services...' and wait a bit.
6. Select the gear icon and select 'Use as audio device'.
7. In system preferences select sound. Switch from the Logitech adapter to Internal speakers (check the sound comes from the internal speakers) and switch back to the Logitech device again (sound will now come from Logitech device).
