We have plugged in the S220 speakers to the computer but no sound comes out. What do we do?

Can you try connecting them to a different sound source as a test. An MP3 player or anything?
Check your sound mixer and make sure the audio output is not muted and it is set to stereo, 2.0 or 2.1 sound output.

Hello Speaker1,
The S220 speakers use a standard 3.5mm analog plug to connect to their source. If you are able to (as BLH has also suggested) please test your speakers on a different source such as an MP3 player. The S220 speakers do come with a two year warranty. If your problem persists, please contact Customer Care in your region for further assistance and a possible warranty replacement. If you currently reside in North America, please feel free to contact me via private message.
I hope this helps you out.
Sincerely,
