Just got a set of new g51's today, im using a Zalman external soundcard (zm-rssc)  and vista basic, i hook evereything up and i get nothing, when i plug subwoofer and mic into laptop, it works fine, but i only get subwoofer and center.

help me please

i just tried using my ipod splitter (1 3.5mm turns into 2), i plug it straight into my laptop, i put the sub/center cable in which is the yellowish one, then put the rear one in (black one). i can know get the rear sound and center/sub. should i get another splitter. NOTE i can't use matrix mode or gameing

is your external soundcard working? can you try using any other speakers with it to test to see if you still get nothing?
