I have had the x-540 speakers for around 2 years now and have not had any problems until recently. About a month ago this happened and there was 0 sound coming from the center speaker. I don't remember what I did, but it fixed itself.

Now, the center and rear speakers do not work, only the front left and front right do. The weird thing is, when I test them, they play the sounds. When I put it on matrix, they also play sound. When I try to play music/games/etc however, nothing comes out of them. When I put my ear up to them, they all give off a subtle staticky sound, like feedback. 

I have tried messing with settings to no avail. Could someone please help me?

Hello Xano74,

Try to disconnect and reconnect all the audio cables on the back of the subwoofer. If you get the same result, try the speakers on another music source such as an IPOD or a different PC using just the green 3.5 mm audio jack. This is the best way to isolate the problem if its the soundcard of your computer or if its the speaker that is defective.
