I first had a x-530 and it blew up then i got another that one blew up aswell. logitech sent me a replacement of the z506. the z506 hasent blown up yet its been like 8 months now. but the subwoofer keeps making burning smells and makes farting noises even on low bass/low volume

its really annoying. the x530 subwoofer never did this and seemed more powerful then  z506. 

im thinking about finding a different system from amazon and just forgetting about logitech because the quality of the system is crap and its not even worth the price its set to.

my last x530 when it stopped working i took the subwoofer out and hooked it to 800Watts reciever and it pumped full quality and this z506 cant even handle its barely 20 watts of power. 

i think i should be given a bigger and better system then z506

I too am getting a popping or fart noise from my speakers quite often, did you ever find out what was causing it?
