hey i bought a z506 5.1 surround sound system, i have plugged in the cables correctly, used Realtek HD audio manager on computer to do speaker fill, yet the subwoofer wont work, all other 4 work. can you help me please

I have exactly the same problem, have tried both on board sound & Creative Sound Blaster Recon 3D. Have also tried it in a MP4 Player.
