z5500 dock wont save my settings.

I have bought Z 5500 speakers and it used to work fine but the problem i face is none of the settings are now saving.
i have tried resetting the firmware but no dice =/
when i switch off control pod and switch it on again, it is reset to default volume being 0, and none of the subwoofer, center, surround settings are stored.
I have to redo it everytime i switch it on which i really frustrating. some help would be much appreciated please ![]()

Hi xb4b1x,
Please try to reset the control pod by performing the following :
- Put the Control Pod in 'standby'
- Press and hold the 'input' and 'settings' buttons simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds.
- This will display your Firmware version.
Once the control pod has been reset please turn your system on and adjust the levels to your preference. Please make sure when powering down the Z5500 to turn off the control pod first.
Also, if at all possible, please try the system on a different audio source.
