Squeezebox Players

I would like to control my squeezebox touch with a 7in tablet can anyone tell me what I need to look for in terms of spec or what tablets there using? i don't want to spend what it costs for an ipad

A version of SqueezePlay has been developed for Android devices and the end of this thread even mentions "cheap" tablets being used with it.
