Squeezebox Players

I just upgraded to the latest firmware, 7.6.0 r9458. After doing so, I see no album art either in the Squeezebox web control on my computer or on the controller. I tried all the usual procedures: setting to factory defaults, unplugging and replugging everything, rebooting the computer and so on. Still no album covers. What can I do?

I'm having the same issue. Got the firmware upgrade last night, and now album art or station art is very inconsistent.

It works fine on Rhapsody and Pandora, but on some of my favorites, such as WCBS FM, Sinatra Style Radio, Contemporary Vocals, Vocal Legends on Jazz Radio, the Jazz Radio logo pops up for a few seconds after I tune in a station and then the logo goes away. No tower, but I am getting a scroll of the name of the song and artist. On some of my favorites, like WFAN, Radio Australia, 91.1 Jazz (San Mateo), KXJZ FM, 1010 WINS the station artwork appears and stays on the screen. I will check my SBS settings but I didn't change anything there, so I don't think that's the issue.

If you are using the server and no getting artwork for your albums please contact your local Customer support center or email us with the following information as we have had reports of some users having this issue.

What firmware are you running

What player you are using

what you are connected to when this happens (server or mysqueezebox.com)

Does this happen with everything or just your albums or just radio

What steps have you done to tried to fix this

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but what do you mean by "what you are connected to when this happens (server or mysqueezebox.com)."

I have the Squeezebox radio and when I use the radio I am connecting to the Internet via my Wifi connection at home. I assume this means that I am connected to mysqueezebox.com, since this is where my favorites are listed? I assume I am using the Squeezebox server when I am listening to or looking for stations that are not saved as "My Favorites?" Is this correct?

I will send info regarding firmware version later today (I am at work right now), but it's the latest version that was pushed to my radio, and my computer, two nights ago. I have album art for Pandora and Slacker, so I think this is only happening for radio stations.  I will check my iTunes collection tonight as well.

Everything was working fine until the most recent firmware update.

Squeezebox server is the program on your computer.

My squeezebox.com is how you listen to music if you do not have that program or your computer is turned off.

Also remember to try a clean install be deleting anything to do with Squeezebox, SqueezeCenter and slim server and reinstall it.

This is a step that we always need people to do.

I am responding to the questions that you asked in response to my report of a lack of pictures after firmware upgrade.

1. What firmware are you running -- I am running version 7.6.0 r32854

2. What player you are using -- the player is Squeezebox Duet

3. what you are connected to when this happens (server or mysqueezebox.com) -- I am connected to the server on my PC

4. Does this happen with everything or just your albums or just radio -- I noticed this on my own albums. I don't go to radio that often, but just a while ago I did and a few of the stations that I looked at had the pictures

5. What steps have you done to tried to fix this -- I have unplugged everything associated with SB and rebooted my computer, plugged everything back in, with no effect. I reset the controller to factory settings and then reconnected to my PC, with no effect. I uninstalled the server software (along with all configuration settings) and reinstalled it.

Here are some answers to questions as well.

3. What you are connected to when this happens (server or mysqueezebox.com) -- I am primarily using the radio while my computer is off, and I am having issues with station art on Internet radio stations that I have saved as favorites.

4. Does this happen with everything or just your albums or just radio? It looks like it is just happening on Internet radio stations. And to make it more complicated, on same stations station art does appear while on others it does not. Station or album art does appear on Rhapsody, Slacker, and Pandora. So I am only having the problem with some Internet radio stations.

5. What steps have you done to tried to fix this?  I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Squeezebox software from my computer, twice.  I also reset the radio back to factory settings. I'm not sure if the radio has a reset button or if that would help.

I also noticed that after I did the first uninstall/reinstall, favorites that I had saved on my home screen were available. Now, the only favorites I can see are those I've saved in my Favorites folder.

Station art has always been unreliable on these players, I wouldn't count on this feature.

I don't think Favorites were saved to your Home Menu.  You likely had some Apps moved to your Home Menu.

To move any menu item to the Home Menu simply navigate to that item then hit the "+" button, Add to Home Menu will be offered.

If the artwork does not show up that is related to your albums on your computer, please completely delete anything on your computer to do with Squeezebox Server, SqueezeCenter and Slim server and reinstall the program again from www.mysqueezebox.com/download.

If the issue is still occuring with your albums please let me know on here.

I'm having same problem.  Just downloaded firmware update last night, same version.  I no longer have album art displayed on either touch or ipeng on iphone.  Have you figured out solution?  If so, I'd appreciate advice.  Thx.
