The problem with Logitech "Live streams" is fixed as far as possible.
The timeout problem with "Listen Again" programs is a different problem and the BBC is wholly at fault. Again the BBC are providing UK WMA URLs to non UK users even with own LMS. This problem is affecting any user of the WMA stream which for example includes Reciva users.
The workaround is to play the AAC version of program rather than the WMA. However for ip3k based players, this would mean transcoding of AAC streams but for some users whose LMS is on a NAS this may not be possible.

Hi bpa2,
Thanks for this explanation. It's a helpful start but I am afraid I am really a novice here.
If I am a 'simple' user connecting my Squeezebox to the internet through a 'normal' home wireless router, is there a setting on my Squeezebox that allows me to use the AAC version with the BBC Radio plugin?
Thanks

IIRC AAC is the default format for plugin and applet so to be using WMA usually means the settings have been changed possibly to avoid some other issue which may now return.
For the plugin - On the WebUI change Settings/Advanced/BBC IPlayer/Settings/ "On Demand" to "AAC->FlashAAC->WMA" and check "enable Transcoding" click Apply.
For the applet - My Apps / BBC Radio/ go to bottom of menu (after BBC York and Special Events) to find "Streams" and change to "AAC/MP3"
If you are testing then choose different programs to play after changing settings as caching means requests to use new format on a program that user has tried to play will not happen until cache expires (usually 5-10mins)

I have been having the same issue (in the US - Squeezebox radio) - not able to listen to the Listen Again streams since last Wenesday I think. However, when I open My Apps, there is no place to find the Settings to change the Streams - is there another way I might get to it? Thanks so much for your help!

Are you using Applet or Plugin ?
For the plugin the "Settings" is in the WebUI on your LMS server PC.
For the applet - My Apps / BBC Radio/ go to bottom of menu (after BBC York and Special Events) to find "Streams" and change to "AAC/MP3"

I updated the player, uninstalled BBC and then reinstalled, found the Settings and changed the feed, and it seems to work now! Hope the BBC stops messing with their broadcast feeds
. Thanks for the help!

Hi,
I've just lost all my listen again on the BBC app on my squeezebox radio. Now I have BBC (International) and only streams. I loved the listen again and it was the only reason I bought the radio. Could somone give me a break down on what I have to do to get it back?
Before I was using this: http://www.iplayerconverter.co.uk/default.aspx, but it stoped working. Then I tried the BBC App and now I only get the streams.
I used to use an RSS feed for the iplayer converter and was able to choose whatever programe I wanted, but now you can't do that even though you can on the computer. How anoying!
What is the diff between an APP and a plugin? What does LMS mean?
How do I change from AAC to another stream?
Please Please someone help!
Thanks in advance guys!
