Squeezebox Players

Hi all, been playing with the Squeezebox since about December 25 <g>. Is there a way I can make my own images (pics) display on it (either by downloading to the player's memory or by linking to an external resource such as my main computer's hard drive)?

Which player?  Touch or Radio?  I presume you mean the Radio.  If there is a way to see your photos over your network I am not aware of it.  Maybe others have a way to do that and will post so.

For both players you can install the Flickr app, load photos onto your Flickr web site account, then access them on your player.  There is also a Facebook app, whether that has any photo specific access I don't know. I do not use either of these myself.

If using the Touch you can also have photos via USB or SD card.

(Just revisiting this issue). Seems a rather roundabout way to include images, when including music is so easy.

There have been additions for a networked Picture Viewer since your first post and since my last response.  In the current release version of LMS 7.7.2 go to LMS > Settings > Advanced > Picture Gallery.  Once you point LMS to your pics you can now access them from Touch or Radio over your network via the Extras menu on the players Home menu.

That option (Picture Gallery) does not exist.

It exists, but it is a Plugin. LMS > Settings > Plugins > 3rd Party.  Once installed it will appear where described above.

For basic picture access without any plugin just use LMS > Settings > Basic > Media Folders > select a picture folder for LMS to use, then Rescan that folder

Hi  Picture Gallery no longer appears to be in the list of 3rd party plugins.

How else can i display my own images in the image viewer?

What version of LMS are you running?  It's right where I described on my setup above.

I am using a touch and in app galary / 3rd party apps   the plugin is not there.

9663 is the player FW version, it is not an LMS version.  Latest release LMS is 7.7.2 r33893 (for Windows anyway).

LMS > Settings > Information > (what is listed at very top for LMS version?)

Sure you expanded "show ALL 3rd party plugins" at bottom of page?

LMS > Settings > Plugins

What OS are you running?
