I am from the UK and have been using a Squeezebox Radio successfully for several months. It has firmware version 7.7.1 r9557.
Within the last few weeks, if I select "Radio" > "Local", it attempts to load the list for approximately 15 seconds before reporting "Failed to parse". This same error is reported whenever I try to access any Radio functionality. The player is working perfectly when playing FLAC files from my NAS.
I have tried the following:
- Turned power off on Squeezebox and then back on
- Re-ran the firmware update
What other steps can I try before I am forced to return the unit?

Are you sure the NAS can see the internet? Try stopping then restarting just LMS on the NAS.

For some reason my NAS couldn't see the internet. I couldn't work out why, but I restarted the router and that appears to have fixed the problem.
Many thanks for your help.
