We purchased a WiFi Squeezebox Radio to hopfully replace our old sterio we use for our "music on hold".
I setup the unit, selected a local radio station (via internet radio) and everything works for most of the day.
When I come into work the next day, there is no music playing. I have to repick the station for the music to start again.
Is there any way I can force the Squeezbox to stay online or retry? I have tried both hardwire (ethernet) and wireless with the same result. The unit is connected to a UPS, and not have the optional battery pack.
Is this a known issue? I looked over the forums, and only found a reference to BBC app timeout.
Thanks

Could be any number of factors:
- router/modem is renewing it's IP lease
- ISP is sending a hit to the modem
- station itself times out or does an "IP kick" of any IP's sitting on it's server for xxx period of time
- intermittent glitch that you may not see again for weeks
I can stream some stations to my Radio for (literally) weeks on end while other stations time out (or just stop) regularly after a few hours.
What you could try is creating a Playlist of the same station. Select the same station twice (currently playing plus add the station again to the playlist). When the first stream times out it should go to the next item in the Playlist which is the same stream. Then repeat itself back to the first stream when the second stream times out.
