I have a big problem in terms of usability: maybe as much as half a year ago, my Squeezebox Touch started behaving weird. If I want to play music from my local music library I might be asked to install version 7.6.1 r9486 of the firmware. This would be fine, if I were not asked to install firmware version 7.7.1 r9558 when I want to listen to music from WIMP (a plugin like Spotify).
I guess the problem can be summed up like this:
local server : firmware 7.6.1 r9486
squeezebox.com : 7.7.1 r9558
I have waited for months for this to clear, but to no avail. What can I do to get out of this endless loop?
Solved: package name changed for linux

I actually got onto the right track by searching for "firmware". Someone had a similar problem. Turns out that if squeezebox.com upgrades its server version, then I have to also do that on my server, otherwise this endless loop. Mine was stuck at 7.6.1, and to no surprise: it turns out that the package name for Debian has changed.
Fellow Linux/Debian/Ubuntu users should take a peek at this page in the Wiki.

If player is connected to LMS then MySB.com will correctly show as "not connected". The player can only be connected to one server at a time, either LMS on your computer or MySB.com online.
