I have a Boom, a Radio, and a Duet and was planning on getting another Radio. Went to the website this morning and saw to new direction Logitech is going. Why wasn't the base of current users informed ? Where is the detailed confirmed information about the plan (if there is one) going forward? How will the now discontinued products be supported.
MySB,com, although had its share of problems, is a versatile tool when it works. It looks like Logitech internet /WiFi music systems will become a commodity like any other device out there and have no distinguishing service to separate it from the pack. With a history of lack of concern for or communication with users, its hard to see how it will be a choice of future purchasers.
Very Disappointed,

I'm absolutely extremely p*ss*d *ff by Logitech
How can they be so stupid to give up on the best streaming system out there, the only competetor is Sonos, they must be
laughing their brains out
Wish they had put the Squeezebox concept up for sale instead of just killing it !!

Having read Logitech's strategic plan I understood the company was targeting small radio type devices since they found this to be the growing segment. I am disappointed that Logitech is abandonding their existing user base, and it's likely to create poor perception in the marketplace also for the UE line.

now, if that's true, then we can use Live Music Archive as a test.
It has been broken on MySqueezebox.com for 6 months now due to what is probably a minor change, even though it was still being advertisted and after all Squeezeboxes are atill being sold.
On uesmartradio.com, however, it does already work.
Will there also be a fix for MySqueezebox.com?
