Squeezebox Players

About 2 weeks ago the audio from KCRW Eclectic Music 24 stopped working on both my Android devices and my Sqeezeboxes. It has returned to the Android devices but not the Squeezeboxes. Anyone know whats up?  I have tried emailing KCRW but no answer. I have tried Tunein Radio who I think is the new internet handler for this station and no answer so far.

I just went to INTERNET RADIO > SEARCH > entered KCRW, and the station showed up. I clicked on it and it plays just fine. I do notice that the stream is AAC. So if you are using mysqueezebox.com, this will only play on the TOUCH and RADIO (which handle AAC natively).  For other SB players, you'll have to have your local LMS/SbS running so that older SB's will be able to use the AAC stream.  I suspect this is your issue.  Many stations seem to be moving to AAC only streams (unfortunately).  If you prefer to use mysb.com, then its time to upgrade to TOUCH units....

Thank you for the reply. I thought that something along these line was the case. I am using a Duet.

Well, I am puzzled somewhat as it now works. That is as of this morning it is working. I have tried it every day and today it is working again. The failure was always the same. It would do a display as if it was playing but no audio. Today all is normal again.  I have over the last 2 weeks done factory resets and they made no difference.  This morning I did nothing more than turn it on. Go figure...

likely something changed on their end and they have now fixed it....(i.e., added back mp3 streams...)
