Purchasing SqueezeBox Touch for a school. Any problems with this?

Hi, I'm considering purchasing a Squeezebox Touch for my school. All of the computers in the school run wirelessly from a central server, using proxy settings. The internet is not accessible by anyone who does not have the proxy settings enabled.

I have three questions.

1) Are there any known problems with this setup - either with entering the proxy settings or with using it on a school network?

2) Is there any other software I am required to install, or hardware I am required to purchase, on top of the Squeezebox, for all this to work?

3) Supposing it all works, is there any way to make the Squeezebox connect to a hidden drive on the server? The staff folder is hidden on the server, so it is unaccessible unless you know the name of it.

Basically, I need the SqueezeBox in the school hall, streaming media files from the server, for assemblies, lessons and such.

Thanks

You need to install the "Logitech Media Server" software on a computer/server. You can set a username/password for this so that nobody can access it without knowing the credentials.

I'm not sure about the proxy settings but I'd expect it to work, after all proxies are not completely uncommon.
