Hi All
I have a third duet receiver that I would like to add to my current set up of two controllers / two receivers.
The third receiver simply will not set up.
It's basically 'stuck' on a slow red.
if I try a factory reset (holding the fornt button) it does not cycle into the quickly flashing red stage, and needless to say I do not see it within the 'connect to receiver' within the controller.
I also do not see the device within my router attached devices (looking for the mac address)
I also tried via an Ethernet and this does not seem to work. The ethernet port does not appear to go live (no LED lights on the ethernet port either on the router or the squeezebox receiver.
It seems to me it's somehow stuck during the factory reboot. Is there any other way of rebooting other than holding the front button?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Hello StevieH,
You can test if the receiver reset button and firmware are defective by unplugging the power to the receiver, Pressing and holding the reset button, and plugging the power back in. While continuing to hold for 10 seconds the light should start cycling through multiple colors and playing an audio test. If this happens the unit would seem to be fine and I would try doing another fact reset to both the receiver And the controller.

Thanks Logan
Had already tried that and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Whilst holding the button and then powerign on, the red light comes on and stays on - finally going to a slow blink - but never gets past that (i.e. no fash flashing red or any other colours)
Is there another way to re-boot?
Thanks
Steve

Hello StevieH,
Unfortunately that would indicate that there is an issue with the Receivers Reset Button and/or Firmware, did you purchase it recently from a store or was it used? We no longer have any Duet hardware replacements but it it was bought through a business you may still be able to take advantage of a warranty claim through them if they offer one.
