Hi,
since some weeks I have no more radio logos (almost all the radio stations) on my squeezebox radio.
I have again reloaded the latest firmware.
I have done also the factory reset
I have to send the radio in repair? Is brand new.....

Radio FW Roll Back (will only be rolled back one version) =
1) Turn Radio off: Press & hold the power button till you see “Goodbye”
2) Turn back on: Press & hold REW and PWR buttons simultaneously
Or go to http://downloads.slimdevices.com/ to get any previous version of LMS which will contain the firmware for that version.
But I'm not sure a previous firmware will help with the station logos, and every time you connect to MySB.com you will be prompted for an update.

This seems to be a long-existing problem with the Squeezebox Radio!
I have recently purchased this radio, and it has been working great for approx. 2 days.
All station 'artwork' (logos, album covers) were visible on the colour display, very nice!!!
However, a network problem, probably on the mysqueezebox server, caused a sudden reboot of the radio a few days ago. This reboot message was visible on the radio display with the request to send a failure report (which I did!).
The radio was working again properly after the reboot, but no artwork was present from that moment, and in some cases the last displayed artwork just before the network problem occurred (logo of a particular Dutch station) pops up instead of the default radio tower logo which is now standard visible on almost all radio stations!
However, some radio stations still show the artwork!!! The following radio stations show the album sleeve of the artist playing instead of the antenna tower (or Dutch station) logo!!! Sometimes the ‘Dutch logo’ is initially present on these stations just after tuning to it, and the correct logo appears after a while when a new song is played which means that the artwork is updated with new information from the radio stream:
http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?...0&partnerId
http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?...9&partnerId
The following radio station has a ‘static’ logo, but that one has been replaced with the radio tower logo (no Dutch logo present at all, always the tower):
http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?...1&partnerId
So I am dealing with three different scenarios: (1) tower logo OR the ‘fixed’ logo of a Dutch radio station, (2) proper artwork (actively updated when a new song is played), and (3) the antenna logo always displayed…..
I wonder what information in the radio stream is corrupted. Is there a way in which the radio stream is passing a kind of filter (probably on the mysqueezebox server) which matches the serial number/account information/firmware version of my radio?
Some owners do have two SR radios, of which one is affected by this bug, and the other one is not). In that case the problem can be fixed (or introduced) by synchronizing the bad one to the good one and vice versa. This make me think of a problem that is NOT in the radio itself (re-installing of the firmware does not fix it) and might be present in the ‘grey area’ between the radio station and the individual radios.
Another weird issue is that the artwork IS PRESENT when using the Logitech Media Server software! Everything seems to be ok when connecting to my local PC with LMS installed. So the radio stream seems to be properly decrypted only when passing the LMS rather than using the mysqueezebox.com server!
I do not want to keep my PC up and running for hours (or days) continuously only for this feature, and it should be unnecessary to do so, to my opinion!
I hope that this information will help the Logitech software experts in fixing this annoying problem!
This is some additional information about my radio:
Logitech Squeezebox Radio
Firmware version 7.7.2 r9663, hardware version 7.
I hope for a quick solution! I am quite surprized that this 'bug' has quite a long history (read in the slimdevices.com forum) and that it is still not fixed!
Best regards from The Netherlands,
Tom
